Ad-hoc design and manufacturing of expansion joints for a water project in Asia

This supply consists of rubber expansion joints custom designed and manufactured for one of the most important clients in Asia, in response to special technical requirements.

They are large rubber expansion joints with demanding technical requirements due to the pressures they must withstand, as a consequence of their specific application for the water sector.

This type of equipment has been designed following the FSA guidelines, and according to the technical parameters provided by the engineer, which are:

Fluid: Water
Design pressure: 10-15 bar
Design temperature: 50ºC
Size: DN150-1800

For this project, Bikar has been in charge of advising and accompanying the client from the offer, design, manufacturing, testing and transportation phases of the requested material.

Once again, Bikar strengthens its position as not only a manufacturer of expansion joints, but as a reliable partner for EPCs throughout the extensive decision and purchasing processes of this type of equipment in industrial projects.
