BIKAR EXPANSION JOINTS FOR NUNGUA DESALINATION PLANT, GHANA

Bikar has signed a new agreement as expansion joint supplier for the first desalination project in West Africa.

The construction of this project began 12 months ago, and it will be finished in 2014. The project has been carried out by a joint venture formed by Abengoa and Daye Water Investment.

Abengoa is the responsible for the design and construction of the plant, as well as its maintenance and operation for the following 25 years.

The plant will have a production capacity of 60,000 m3/d. using reverse osmosis technology.. The plant will provide water for approximately, 400.000 people around Accra city area.

Meanwhile, Bikar will supply rubber compensators from DN 900 to DN 1400 (mm.).

BIKAR SIGNS AN EXPANSION JOINT SUPPLY AGREEMENT FOR A NEW HIGH QUALITY POLYSILICON PRODUCTION PLANT IN QATAR.

This is an order of different rubber expansion joints that will be used for the construction of the phase I of High-Quality polysilicon plant in Qatar.

This material is manufactured for resale in the solar energy market. This procedure means the initial phase of the value chain of this industry.

EXPANSION JOINTS SUPPLY AGREEMENT FOR WATER PROJECT IN OMAN

Bikar Juntas y Compensadores S.L signed a new agreement in Oman. At this time it consists of supplying the rubber expansion joints for the project: INDEPENDENT WATER PROJECT -IWP(desalination plant) in Al Ghubrah (Muscat).

The pieces will be manufactured and shipped in the coming months.
