NEW SUPPLY OF CUSTOM-MADE RUBBER EXPANSION JOINTS FOR MINING INDUSTRY IN SOUTH AMERICA

We will imminently proceed from Bikar to send this order of rubber expansion joints for a mining plant located in South America. As experts in custom manufacturing, we have designed and manufactured this order taking care of every detail and fulfilling all the requirements of our customer.

The rubber expansion joints that make up this supply are type BF-PPS and range from 250mm to 1600mm in diameter. They are specially designed to support and conduct fluids rich in solid materials. Due to the particularities of the fluid and its velocity, they require the use of an internal metal sleeve to protect the inner part of the rubber body, thus extending the life of the joints.

It is a totally innovative product, with more than 15 years of research in the improvement of its design and manufacturing processes. Among its characteristics are its great elasticity and its movement absorption, which make it capable of offering the minimum activation forces.

NEW SUPPLY OF HIGH-QUALITY DISMANTLING JOINTS FOR RO PLANT IN MIDDLE EAST

On this occasion, Bikar designed, manufactured, tested and supplied an important set of disassembly joints to be delivered to one of the most important desalination plants in the world, located in the Middle East.

In terms of sizes, the scope of this supply has been from DN1000 to DN1800.

The dismantling joints provided to our client have been both high and low pressure. Both types are custom designed, with special lengths. Likewise, they have inner and outer coatings, certified for potable water.

Due to the aforementioned industry, the supply has been designed with very high quality standards and strict specifications, carried out during the production stages.

New supply of Rubber Expansion Joints for a pumping station in Qatar

In this case, it is an extension of a project for which another joint package was previously supplied.

From BIKAR JUNTAS Y COMPENSADORES S.L.a series of Expansion Joints have been designed and manufactured to be installed, both at the inlet and at the outlet of pumping equipment. These are our BF-PPS joints, one of our customized solutions according to the customer’s needs.

This time the characteristics of this type of joints have been the following:

Design pressure: 8 bar
Bellows material: EPDM
Flanges: carbon steel + special coating
DN 1200
DN 1000

The expansion joints have been designed, as always, following the guidelines of the FSA (Fluid Sealing Association), the technical manual for non-metallic expansion joints.
