Bikar has been awarded an expansion joints supply contract by the engineering contractors for the Solar IPP Plant located in Ouarzazate, 200kms to the south of Marrakech.
It is planned to be ready for the second half of 2015.
The power plant is owned by ACWA Power Ouarzazate. The Solar IPP Plant is designed and will be constructed to comply with all applicable environmental laws, guidelines, regulations and standards as per World Bank, IFC and Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and environment. (MEMEE)
The project consists of the new wash plant construction in order to attend to El Halassa Green Mine needs. Mainly treating the phosphate rocks extracted from the mentioned mine, located at Khouribga province.
