Bikar Juntas y Compensadores S.L signed a new agreement in Oman. At this time it consists of supplying the rubber expansion joints for the project: INDEPENDENT WATER PROJECT -IWP(desalination plant) in Al Ghubrah (Muscat).
The pieces will be manufactured and shipped in the coming months.
This is an order of more than 600 pieces (rubber expansion joints), which will go toward the KING ABDULAZIZ INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in Jeddah, KSA.
The delivery of the order will be done in the following weeks.
Bikar has signed a new agreement to be the expansion joint supplier (metallic type) for the Atotonilco WWTP project, which is the biggest plant in the world of this nature. Nowadays it is 35-40 % already built.
The WWTP has a water treatment capacity of 35-50 m3/s. At the same time, the plant has a cogeneration system, exploiting the generated biodiesel in order to save a considerable amount of energy.
CADAGUA awarded Acciona, in a consortium with Promotora del Desarrollo de América Latina, S.A. de C.V., Controladora de Operaciones de Infraestructura, S.A. de C.V. (ICA); Atlatec, S.A. de C.V ; Desarrollo y Construcciones Urbanas, S.A. de C.V. y Green Gas Pioneer Crossing Energy, LLC., the contract for the construction and operation of the plant.
