New Rubber Expansion Joint Package for Important Transmission Line in Saudi Arabia
BIKAR Expansion Joints strengthens its position in the country, this time in partnership with a Saudi/Spanish joint venture responsible for the design and construction of a strategic project in the region. This is a 150 km transmission line with a pumping capacity of 500,000 m³/day.
This installation will connect two important industrial areas located north of Jeddah, thus enabling the distribution of desalinated water to the Mecca and Medina regions.
This is a benchmark project and a crucial component for the infrastructure development that SWPC is promoting throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Regarding the scope of supply, this involves BF-PPS type rubber expansion joints, our custom-made solution according to the client’s technical specifications, always based on the FSA standard or guide.
In this case, the package consists of:
DN1500 – Triple wave and 10 bar
DN1200 – Triple wave and 3.5 bar
DN600 – Single wave and 25 bar
DN450 – Single wave and 25 bar
