Iberdrola has awarded to Bikar a contract to supply the expansion joints for Lichterfelde Combined Cycle Plant in Germany.
With this new contract, Bikar strengthens its position in the European Power market and consolidates its relations with Iberdrola.
Bikar will provide its rubber expansion joints towards two parts/phases of the construction.
RO Abu Fontas A3 Desalination Plan, which is located 10km away from Doha, will have a capacity of 164,000 m3/day. The project will be developed under an independent water project (IWP) model, with the Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC) for a 25-year period.
It will be the first major desalination plant in the country to use reverse osmosis technology.
