Bikar designed, produced and supplied a new set of dismantling joints towards one of the main Water Transmission System projects in KSA.
The set consisted in big sized dismantling joints designed to work under high pressures (From DN1200 to DN2400).

Bikar was the awarded Company for the manufacturing and supplying contract of the expansion joints towards to the New 8 Satellite Plants built along the Red Sea Coast, East Coast of the Kingdom
The complete project will have a combined capacity of 238,500m3/d divided as follows: Al Lith (42,500m3/d); Duba (25,500m3/d); Farasan (8,500m3/d); Haql (17,000m3/d); Qunfudah (51,500m3/d); Rabigh (42,500m3/d); Umluj (25,500m3/d); Wajh (25,500m3/d).
Bikar manufactured, tested and supplied the rubber expansion joints package on the scheduled and agreed delivery date. Not being big size joints, the challenge of this project was the huge number of pieces and the short agreed lead time (500 units approx.).
Bikar makes official a new agreement for the design and supply of expansion joints package. The order will supply for the new phase of the combined cycle power plant is being built in Kuwait.
This is the forth agreement between Bikar and the company in charge of the design and construction of this power complex. In this case, the scope will be metal and rubber expansion joints up to DN2200.
