THE WORLD’S LARGEST DESALINATION PLANT WILL HAVE EXPANSION JOINTS MANUFACTURED BY BIKAR
Bikar is proud to announce another supply for the biggest desalination plant worldwide, located in Middle East
A huge number of rubber and metal expansion joints have been successfully designed, manufactured and tested for the above mentioned project. Due to the large number of units, Bikar agreed several partial deliveries in order to support site urgent works.
The material supplied in this last delivery is made up of our customized solution named BF-PPS. This kind of expansion joint can be adapted to customer´s needs in terms of dimensions, materials, coating, accessories…etc.
This expansion joint order, as always, was designed according to FSA Technical Handbook Guidelines, and tested hydrostatically before packing.
Material supplied:
- Sizes: DN600-DN3000 mm
- Type: Single and Double Wave design
- Design Pressure: 10 barg
- Test Pressure: 15 barg
- Operating Temperature: +90/25 °C
